This is a legally binding Unconditional and Full General Release of Liability, Waiver, Discharge, and Covenant Not to Sue Naturecoast Carts LLC, or any property owners or affiliates involved with this rental (“Hosts”).

I, the undersigned “Operator” and/or “Lessee,” fully acknowledge that operating a golf cart on public or private roads in Citrus County, FL involves inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to: Injury to myself or others Damage to my property or the property of others Death or permanent disability In no event shall Naturecoast Carts LLC, or any associated entities be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

I agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Naturecoast Carts LLC, and associated parties from any and all liability, claims, causes of action, or costs — including injury, loss, or death — arising from or connected to my use of the golf cart.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with golf cart operation, including those resulting from my own negligence or the negligence of others. This release includes any injury, property damage, or death caused by conditions of the activity or lack of supervision.

I certify that I am at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, and am in good physical and mental condition to operate a golf cart. I understand that no one under the age of 18 is permitted to operate the golf cart at any time, under any circumstance, whether on public or private property. I further understand that I am fully responsible for ensuring that no unauthorized or underage person operates the vehicle during my rental period.

This I fully understand that: Golf cart use can result in serious injury, disability, or death Risks may be caused by my actions, those of others, or conditions of the activity Additional risks and losses may occur that are unforeseen I accept all such risks and responsibilities.

I release and agree not to sue Naturecoast Carts LLC, their members, agents, sponsors, employees, and affiliates (collectively “Releasees”) from all liability, claims, or damages — even those caused by negligence. I also agree to indemnify Releasees against any legal claims brought by me or others on my behalf.

I understand this agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law. If any portion is found invalid, the remaining terms shall continue in full force.

I agree to be financially responsible for any damage or injury caused during my rental period. I will ensure that all members of my party understand this responsibility. I will inspect the cart at pickup and notify the owner of any pre-existing damage. Upon return, Naturecoast Carts LLC will inspect the cart.

I accept full financial responsibility for any damage to the cart, myself, my passengers, or other property during the rental period. I will not hold Naturecoast Carts LLC or its affiliates liable for damages or losses.

Each golf cart key is equipped with an Apple AirTag tracking device to ensure the key’s safety and to monitor lawful usage of the vehicle. By checking this box, I acknowledge the presence of the tracking device and agree not to tamper with, disable, or remove it for any reason. Tampering with the tracking device may result in additional fees, rental termination, or legal consequences.

I am responsible for recharging the cart as needed during my rental period.

Renter acknowledges that a refundable security deposit in the amount of $250.00 is required for each rental and may be applied, in whole or in part, to any unpaid rental charges, late fees, damage, missing items, cleaning, towing, service calls, traffic citations, tolls, battery abuse, or other amounts due under this Agreement; any remaining balance shall be refunded after the cart is returned, inspected, and found to be in satisfactory condition, subject to normal processing time.

Renter further agrees to operate the cart in a safe, lawful, and prudent manner; to comply with all applicable laws, rules, posted instructions, and company policies; to use the cart only for its intended purpose; and to return the cart on time, in the same condition received, ordinary wear and tear excepted.

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Renter knowingly releases Nature Coast Carts LLC, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates from all claims for ordinary negligence, injury, death, or damage arising from cart rental or use; excluding gross negligence or non-waivable liability.

I acknowledge that I have read, reviewed, and understand the regulations outlined in the 2025 Citrus County Golf Cart Ordinance. I agree to comply with all applicable local laws and restrictions governing golf cart use throughout the duration of my rental period. I understand that failure to follow these regulations may result in fines, penalties, or termination of my rental agreement.
